We needed to do a number of tasks and integrations to improve the platform to make the functionality more convenient and comprehensive.
Challenge
- The main challenge was to bring the functionality of the application to a new level, in terms of flight simulators, training, dashboards, which should be interconnected.
Key features
- Upgrade from Laravel 8 to Laravel 11
- Integration with Dropbox - synchronization of documents in the system with the storage
- Adding locations for schools with multiple locations
- Adding classrooms - rooms for training
- Ability to share aircraft between organizations (schools)
- Create a logbook - a personal flight logbook, compatible with the EASA standard
- Add support for simulator aircraft types
- Change the appearance of school settings, dividing into tabs by groups. Also, a bunch of settings were needed there during the task execution
- Develop a couple of dashboards for different roles - Head of training, Operations, Instructor, Accountant, Student, Safety Manager
- Develop a couple of statistical reports
