HUDD is a social platform for web and mobile, built for Scandinavian users who want to reconnect with real neighbors, local communities, and businesses around them.

Users can explore an interactive map showing nearby residents, events, incidents, and businesses, and stay connected through a personalized feed, interest-based communities, and messaging that covers direct, group, business, and event chats. Deep integration with Norwegian BankID, Swedish BankID, and MitID ensures every user is a real, verified resident, building trust that global social platforms don’t offer. Local businesses get a dedicated toolbox with self-service profiles, working hours, and a Deals tab, while everyday engagement is driven by the Morning Coffee widget – a daily hub combining weather, local events, and birthdays.

Subscriptions and premium features are managed through in-app purchases and Vipps, providing a payment experience familiar to Scandinavian users. The platform has scaled to 200,000+ users across Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Greenland, and Svalbard.

People who live close to each other in Scandinavia often don’t know one another and rarely socialize, even though many would like to. The founder needed a way to reconnect neighbors, surface relevant local information, and give local businesses a direct channel to the audience right around them.
