What our client
wanted

Zack Wasson
Founder at DIOSPATIAL
We needed a complex software solution for our company to assess imagery for changes and defects over time via drones

Challenge
The difficulty was to create the unique platform comparing images based on their height above sea level, latitude, longitude and image camera pitch captured at different times. So that an Australian team of engineers and surveyors can track any terrain changes and make spatial solutions for the built and natural environment. The main technical challenge is to process large amounts of data fast and smoothly while saving the original image quality.
Requirements
- The app has to sort images captured at different times by location and find the most similar to each other.
- Images should auto resize depending on speed of internet connection.
- The app has to sort images captured at different times by location and find the most similar to each other.
- Images can be zoomed in to find the smallest changes on it.
- Platform users should have the ability to download images in maximum quality or with maximum compression for the best speed on their desktops.
- The satellite map of the platform should show the exact places of drone location at a capturing time.
- Administrators should have the ability to create, edit and delete the inspectors and platform administrators, to create, edit and delete default location folders (sites).
- The app should have a high level of security using relevant technologies and allows the platform access only by login with unique credentials.

Functional features
- Implement the map showing accurate drone location at the capturing moment.
- Develop the ability to identify height above sea level, latitude, longitude and image camera pitch of captured images.
- Develop the system comparing the most similar images captured at different times.
- Add images auto resize feature depending on speed of internet connection to achieve the highest speed.
- Implement the connection between satellite map and image galleries.
- Implement automatic watermarking when downloading images.
- Develop the system identifying the kilometrage from Australian zero point (Sydney center).
